Accessibility
We want this website and our activities to be welcoming and usable by everyone. We work to support keyboard navigation, readable contrast, descriptive labels, responsive layouts, and reduced-motion preferences. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we do not claim that every page or third-party service is free of barriers.
If you encounter an accessibility problem, need an accommodation for an event, or would like content in an alternative format, email pianosociety@nyu.edu. Please describe the page, event, or content involved and the format or accommodation you need. We will respond as promptly as reasonably possible.
Typography & font licenses
This site uses self-hosted Latin subsets of Archivo, Cormorant Garamond, and Space Mono. Each family is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use and embedding in nonprofit and commercial websites. The complete copyright and license notices are distributed with the site:
The font files are not sold separately and have not been renamed or modified beyond web subsetting.
Copyright, photos & trademarks
Unless otherwise credited, original website text, graphics, event materials, and photographs are owned by or used with permission of The Piano Society at NYU and their respective creators. Photos of members and events are displayed with consent. You may link to this site, but you may not reproduce, modify, sell, or republish its content without permission from the relevant rights holder.
NYU, platform, venue, artist, and other names or marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies people, places, services, or affiliations and does not by itself imply sponsorship or endorsement.
For a credit, consent, or takedown request, contact us with the URL and a description of the material. We will review good-faith requests promptly.
Privacy & communications
This static website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or sell personal information. Its webfonts are hosted with the site, so loading typography does not contact Google Fonts. Information you choose to send by email or through a linked third-party service is handled through that service and used to respond to your request, administer Society activities, or send communications you requested.
When you subscribe, the form sends your email address and any optional name or pronouns you provide to our website form provider, Netlify, so the Society can manage requested updates. The form does not submit from a local preview. To ask about your submission or request removal, email pianosociety@nyu.edu. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or account information. Third-party destinations—including social networks, email providers, NYU services, and Netlify—operate under their own privacy and accessibility terms.
